THE BCF WeCare Package is a powerful source of strength and hope for newly diagnosed breast cancer patients. It addresses the critical gap in care that often exists during the initial weeks after a diagnosis. To bridge this gap, THE BCF WeCare Package offers a meaningful solution by providing tangible resources and comforting items to support breast cancer patients throughout their treatment and recovery. Additionally, each WeCare Package includes a heartfelt, handwritten note from members of the community, reminding patients that they are not alone in their healing journey.
Our WeGive Day at Providence Leonard Cancer Center, Mission Hospital, was a special day for 49 women and 1 man recently diagnosed with breast cancer. Volunteers united to assemble and distribute WeCare Packages, offering support and comfort to those bravely fighting this battle. A heartfelt thank you to Natalie Grumet and Mary Miyamoto for championing this event and helping ensure these packages reached patients in need.
